Wonderful to see the block containing the Grant Arms pub, on Argyle Street - one of only two buildings to survive from the old village of Grahamston - back in its Sunday best.

Thanks to grant funding from the Glasgow City Heritage Trust, repairs have been carried out to its slate, lead, traditional lime harl, woodwork and windows. The scaffolding has just come down and it’s looking fabulous!

Now, there are very few city centre pubs I've never entered, but this is one. Once the lockdown ends, I'm nipping in for a pint.
