Make that a double.

Typical! You wait ages for a new distillery to open in Glasgow, and then two come along at once.

With the The Clydeside Distillery already up and running, it'll soon have a cross-river rival, as Douglas Laing & Co press ahead with plans for their new £10m Clutha Distillery, at Pacific Quay.

Clutha, of course, is a Latinised version of the ancient, Cumbric name of the River Clyde - 'Ystrad Clut'.
