Beer gardens might have reopened, but barbers and hair salons are still shut, and I'm beginning to resemble Catweezle.
It'll be another couple of weeks until I can get half-cut!
So, madam, off anywhere nice this evening?
Top Glasgow hairdresser Daniel E Pediani, seen here in action in 1948, was a master of his craft, the city's own 'Mr Teasy-Weasy'. Operating from his 'Little Paris' salon, at 14 Fitzroy Place, Sauchiehall Street, he attended to the barnets of the city's poshest ladies.
The Pediani family opened their first Glasgow salon in 1916, before opening other salons throughout the West of Scotland.
Daniel here was a real showman, winning two Grand Prix at the world hairdressing championships in Paris.
His granddaughter still runs a salon, in Atlas Road, Springburn.
