The things you see on your way to work.

This morning, in Central Station, I got a glimpse of this beauty - The Scottish Cup - the oldest cup in association football and also the oldest national trophy in the world. It was first presented to Queen's Park, who won the inaugural tournament in March 1874.

Just before I took this snap, a workie, in high-vis vest, got his photograph taken with the trophy. When he took his hard hat off, his pal, who was taking the pic, said: "You two must be related; you've got the same lugs."

Perfect patter for a Friday morning.

Just a few steps further on, I saw another Glasgow treasure, Central Station historian and tour guide Paul Lyons.

Two legends in the same day. Aye, it's no a bad life...
